New York Knicks / Schedule
The 29-year-old guard has been listed as questionable for the matchup at Madison Square Garden, after previously being listed as day-to-day on the injury report and missing the last game against the Golden State Warriors.
Brunson suffered the injury in Wednesday’s 112–101 loss to the Sacramento Kings, appearing in just five minutes.
The All-Star point guard went down in the first quarter while dribbling, when his ankle appeared to give out, sending him to the floor. He finished with four points before exiting the game.
Brunson’s absence is a major blow for the Knicks. He is averaging 28.2 points and 6.1 assists per game while leading the league in scoring efficiency.
The New York Knicks are currently sitting third in the Eastern Conference with a 25–16 record.
