According to TMZ, West’s attorney, Brandon Sloane, says he is “confident the details of the case will show there’s much more to the story,” but also that the former NBAer is “using the experience as a wake-up call to seek professional help.”
Sloane added he is “proud of Delonte as he has used this process to seek out help and been released on bond to a treatment facility.”
“We all look forward to his continued progress, and Delonte is particularly appreciative of the numerous thoughts and well wishes over the last several weeks.”
What trouble has West been in before?
This arrest marks this latest off-court problem for West after he was found unconscious and intoxicated on the side of a road in the same area last November.
