Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is set to miss his second straight game on Friday against the Houston Rockets.
Minnesota Timberwolves / Schedule
According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Edwards will miss the matchup due to a foot infection, but his status will be considered day-to-day after Friday's game in Houston.
"[Edwards] is already back on the court, and he's going to be day-to-day… he dealt with the same infection in December," Charania reports.
The 24-year-old All-Star guard has appeared in 33 games so far this season, averaging a career-best 28.9 points, along with 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
The Timberwolves are currently fourth in the Western Conference with a 27-14 record.
