Enzo Maresca’s departure left a sour taste in the mouths of Chelsea fans, as he was a rather popular figure at Stamford Bridge.
The real issue is Behdad Eghbali at Chelsea. A banner was being displayed during the Fulham clash and accompanied by chants that cannot be repeated.

And supporters will get another chance to voice their opinions at Stamford Bridge for the Brentford clash, as fans are encouraged to take part in a peaceful protest.
Ahead of the game, Rosenior certainly hasn’t helped his cause with a comment about the owners just hours before the protest.
Chelsea fans have had their concerns about whether Liam Rosenior has just been brought in to be a ‘yes man’ at Stamford Bridge, and they could be right.
Speaking via Kieran Gill, Rosenior encouraged the Chelsea hierarchy to keep coming into the dressing room after revealing their visit in the wake of the Arsenal loss.
“They have been there every time I had a game at Strasbourg home or away, they were in the dressing room. It’s nothing to do with a debrief. It’s to give confidence, it’s to talk, it’s to collaborate, it’s to think together. They were in there (after Arsenal), and I encourage them to keep coming in.”
However, the reaction from the Chelsea fans wasn’t a good one, and you cannot blame them.

Chelsea fans have every right to be angry
Chelsea fans have spent the last year watching Strasbourg supporters protest against being a feeder club.
By citing his time at Strasbourg as a positive experience, Rosenior is essentially confirming that the same corporate oversight is being brought to Stamford Bridge.
That’s not the only thing, as the idea of the manager thinking together with Behdad Eghbali or Todd Boehly suggests a lack of managerial authority. To fans, this sounds like micromanagement, which is exactly what they tried to do with Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
