Facundo Buonanotte has joined Leeds United after his Chelsea loan was terminated.
The Argentine had moved to Stamford Bridge from Brighton last August, but only made one senior appearance in the intervening time.
He has now signed for the South Yorkshire club until the end of the season, and could make his Premier League debut for them this weekend against Fulham.
The 21 year-old, who has been capped twice by Argentina, spent last season on loan at Leicester City, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists in 35 appearances for them.
He was close to signing for Leeds in the summer, before Chelsea made their move.
However, in the event, first-team opportunities in West London were very limited, and the decision to terminate the loan, which was mutual, was in the interests of both parties.
His last involvement as a Chelsea player was as an unused substitute in their Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal at the Bridge.
