Liverpool are set to continue their Premier League campaign against Burnley this weekend. Arne Slot's squad currently sit fourth in the league table, just three points ahead of Manchester United in seventh place.

Coming off a 4-1 FA Cup victory over Barnsley, Liverpool remain unbeaten in their last nine league games. Meanwhile, Burnley find themselves at the opposite end of the table, languishing in 19th place and eight points from safety.

The last time these two teams faced off at Turf Moor in September, Liverpool emerged victorious. Burnley were down to 10 men after Lesley Ugochukwu was sent off for two bookings and Mohamed Salah clinched the win for the Reds with a penalty in stoppage time.

This marked the sixth consecutive Premier League win for Liverpool against Burnley, with the Clarets managing to score only once during these matches. Burnley's last victory over Liverpool came in January 2021 when Ashley Barnes netted the game's sole goal at Anfield.
