Liverpool team to face Burnley in the Premier League confirmed.

Liverpool have made five changes for their clash against Burnley in the Premier League at Anfield.

Hugo Ekitike returns to the starting line-up after a hamstring injury. The striker came off the bench to score the final goal in the 4-1 win over Barnsley in the FA Cup earlier this week. He replaced Federico Chiesa.

In addition, Florian Wirtz - who also netted as a substitute - is back from the outset for Rio Ngumoha. Ryan Gravenberch shields the midfield, with Alexis Mac Allster dropping out of the XI

In defence, Ibrahima Konate and Milos Kerkez replace Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson respectively. Alisson Becker is back in goal with Giorgi Mamardashvili returning to the bench.

Liverpool aim to stretch their unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions against 19th-placed Burnley.

Liverpool: Alisson, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Jones, Gakpo, Ekitike, Frimpong, Gravenberch.

Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Endo, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Robertson, Nyoni, Ramsay, Ngumoha.
