It’s been an odd afternoon so far – we were pretty unhappy with what we’ve seen from the Blues, who were unlucky to not be behind.

But the Blues could have had a penalty, and were unlucky that VAR didn’t give them one for Michael Kayode’s trip of Joao Pedro. So the fact that both of those players were involved for this goal was fitting.

Kayode smashed a panicked clearance into Enzo Fernandez who was closing him down, and the ball dropped perfectly for JP in front of goal. He hammered his finish on his left foot into the roof of the net.

We wonder if Enzo gets an assist for that? He’s been our best player so far, and probably deserves one.
