Liverpool were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw in the Premier League by 19th-placed Burnley on Saturday afternoon - with questions persisting over Arne Slot’s long-term future at the club.
The Dutchman oversaw a miserable run of form throughout October and November but his side have not lost a game since a 4-1 defeat against PSV Eindhoven in late November.
They are unbeaten in their last 12 games but they have now drawn their last four Premier League outings and won just three of their last nine games in the top flight - meaning they have dropped 12 points from the last 27 on offer. Winning just half of those games could have put the Reds just one point behind second place.
The Reds had over 30 shots in the game against Burnley but conceded from the Clarets’ only shot on target.
