Palmer scored in Chelsea’s 2-0 win against Brentford, converting a penalty after Joao Pedro had given the home side the lead in the first half.
It was only Palmer’s fourth goal in the Premier League this season, with the attacking midfielder having picked up a couple of injuries.

Cole Palmer earns standing ovation from Chelsea supporters after turning Yehor Yarmolyuk
Palmer’s penalty was a very convincing one, but that is not what got the Stamford Bridge faithful off their feet.

The win was exactly what Chelsea needed after losing 2-1 to Fulham in their previous Premier League outing.
Joao Pedro was clipped in Brentford’s box in the first half, so the Blues easily could have had another penalty.
In the end, though, his and Palmer’s goals were enough for Rosenior to pick up his first league win as Chelsea head coach.

How many dribbles did Cole Palmer complete against Brentford?
According to Sofascore, Palmer attempted five dribbles against Brentford in total and completed two of them.
In standing positions and tight spaces, the 23-year-old is phenomenal at weaving himself away from the opposition.
It is something that Chelsea supporters saw on Saturday and long may it continue now that Palmer is back from injury.
Next up for the England international and Chelsea is a Champions League fixture against Pafos. After losing to Atalanta last time out, they need to win it. If Palmer starts that game, you would expect the Club World Cup winners to do just that.
