Arsenal missed out on the chance to go nine points clear at the top and Declan Rice's frustrations were clear.

Declan Rice's expletive-filled comment was caught on camera after Arsenal missed out on the chance to move nine points clear at the top of the table.

The Gunners travelled to Nottingham Forest for Saturday's evening kick-off in the Premier League, having seen Manchester City lose the derby 2-0 to Manchester United in Michael Carrick's first game in charge.

However the league leaders were frustrated by Forest, who became only the second side to stop them scoring this season.

Arsenal still gained on City and are now seven points clear after 22 games played. But Aston Villa can move within four points with victory over Everton on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta's men were not quite on song and Rice was clearly unhappy at the final whistle. The cameras panned to the England international as he clapped the Arsenal away end before shaking his head.

He then appeared to say, "F***ing s**t, every f***ing time!”. It was not clear what exactly Rice was referring to as he made the comment.

Arsenal will look to return to winning ways on Tuesday when they take on Inter Milan at the San Siro, before hosting Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday.
