Will Jalen Brunson finally play? Final injury status in Knicks-Suns clash

Brunson (ankle) will miss his second straight game for the Knicks.

The New York Knicks will still be without Jalen Brunson.

New York Knicks / Schedule

The superstar guard reportedly won't play this Saturday, as the Knicks will welcome the Phoenix Suns to Madison Square Garden. This marks the second consecutive absence of Brunson for New York.

Brunson notably suffered from a right ankle sprain in the team's 112-101 against the Sacramento Kings last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Josh Hart (ankle) is also out.

Sliding with a two-game losing skid, the Knicks will aim to be back on the win column with their franchise guard on the sidelines. Brunson is averaging 28.2 points and 6.1 assists in 37 games for the franchise this season.

Deuce McBride, Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek are all expected to step up in the backcourt in the wake of Brunson's continued inactivity.
