Earlier this season, the Oklahoma City Thunder's dominance emerged as the primary topic of discussion. There were serious talks that they might finally break the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors' historic 73-win regular season.

But after how things have unfolded in the past couple of weeks, it appears that the Dubs' compelling record-setting wins will remain strong and standing.

"I remember at the time I thought no way. Then about a month ago, I thought it would be broken, and now I don’t think there’s any way anybody’s going to break it again," Kerr said in pregame of the Warriors' 136-116 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. "It’s such a difficult thing.

"Oklahoma City looked like they were on their way to doing it, but the reason it’s so hard is you have to have good health, you have to have some luck, and most teams probably aren’t going to push themselves that hard to get there. It’s so difficult, so my guess is it won’t be broken."
