Liverpool want mystery 20-year-old–Reds secret transfer plan

Liverpool are competing with Galatasaray for a mystery 20-year-old who is yet to be identified. That’s at least according to journalist Burhan Can Terzi.

Haber Sarikizmiri cover comments from journalist Burhan Can Terzi who has reported Liverpool’s interest today.

“Galatasaray is currently in contact with and very much wants a player, and the president has approved him,” he is quoted as saying.

“This player is 20 years old. This is the player who is not Hakan Çalhanoğlu. Galatasaray’s rival in this transfer is Liverpool.”

He provides no further information on the player than that. That leaves us in the dark for the time being on who the player might be.

We can speculate, of course. And a report a month ago, from 90+ Digital and Yakup Cinar, stated that Galatasaray were interested in Brazilian youngster Breno Bidon.

He currently plays for Corinthians and has been linked with the Premier League.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Brighton have all been credited with interest before now. It would not be surprising if Liverpool had added themselves to that mix as well.

He at least fits the age profile and has been linked to Galatasaray recently. Of course, we’re just speculating and there are, naturally, plenty of 20-year-olds it could be.

One to keep an eye on for the time being.
