Chelsea’s win against Brentford on Saturday will certainly not go down as performance of the season in Nathan Collins’ eyes.
Collins and his teammates were beaten 2-0 by their west London rivals at Stamford Bridge.
It was Liam Rosenior’s first Premier League victory as Chelsea manager, with the 41-year-old having Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer to thank for it after their goals.

Nathan Collins tells Chelsea they didn’t deserve to win
The likes of Pedro, Palmer and Robert Sanchez all put in good performances against Collins’ side. Even so, the Brentford captain does not think Chelsea’s 2-0 victory was a fair result.
Speaking to Brentford’s official club website after the full-time whistle, Collins said: “There is a lot of frustration. I thought that we were the better team and that we dominated the game. We created a lot of chances.
“The frustrating — but also positive — thing is that their goals came from our mistakes. We gave them nothing, defended well, and attacked really well, too. We controlled the game, so it’s really frustrating.”

Chelsea will not care too much about how they earned the three points on Saturday. They just needed to secure them after a dreadful run of form in the Premier League.
That was only their second win in their last 10 outings in the top flight, showing the task at hand for Rosenior.
There were plenty of encouraging signs from their victory over Brentford, though, including Sanchez’s display as he shut out Collins and Co.

What the stats say about Chelsea’s win against Brentford
Brentford dominated possession at Stamford Bridge, which is something that would probably not have happened had Enzo Maresca still been in charge of Chelsea.
According to Sofascore, the visitors had 54% of the ball, while the home side only had 46%.
Brentford also had 15 shots, whereas Chelsea only managed to register six. However, Chelsea’s xG was slightly higher, suggesting that they had the better chances.
On another day, the game could have gone the other way. Brentford perhaps did deserve something from the match then, so you can understand Collins’ frustration.
Rosenior will not care at all, though, as he picked up his first win at Stamford Bridge.
