Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icchelseanews that you guys may have missed…
There have been some more reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea have made contact with Como over a possible deal for Jacobo Ramon
According to the reports, CHELSEA are one of the clubs who have scouted 21-year-old Como centre-back Ramon. Since December, they have been monitoring him closely, alongside Liverpool and Tottenham, while Newcastle, Brighton and Crystal Palace have also sent scouts to watch him.
Ramon, who left Real Madrid for Como in the summer, is believed to be a prodigious talent, and one of the most consistent performers for his club, and reports in Spain claim that the Blues have made their moves to get a deal done for the lad.
IcChelseanews Says…
With all that being said, Ramon is a very talented defender that is making a real name for himself in the game, and to be honest, he may be ready for a move to Stamford Bridge in the future.
But he is not ready to come to the Premier League and make this move, so if it does happen, he could really scupper his career in the game, The Blues just buy and buy in order to get the games best talents.
We would like to see a more established defender make the move to the club, we need some leadership in that back-line, so adding another talent to the squad that needs time to develop into a player that is good enough for us, is not what we need right now.
Liam Rosenior needs the chance to prove himself, he will not be able to do that with talents getting signed every window.
CHELSEA ANNOUNCE DEFENDER DEAL.
Chelsea Football Club have officially announced that Academy defender Olutayo Subuloye has signed a new contract with the Blues, keeping him at the club until at least 2030.
The Blues posted: ‘Subuloye joined the CHELSEA Academy at Under-12s level from Brighton & Hove Albion and has progressed steadily through the age groups, developing into a strong and composed defender.
‘Having captained our Under-16s in the 2023/24 Premier League national final, Subuloye earned international recognition with England Under-18s and became a regular for Chelsea Under-18s the following season. His progress was rewarded with his first professional contract in 2024
‘The defender was named Under-18s captain for 2025/26. He also made his UEFA Youth League debut for our Under-19s in a memorable 3-2 away victory over Bayern Munich and featured throughout the group stage, as CHELSEA finished unbeaten at the top of the league-phase table.
‘Subuloye has gained further experience with our Under-21s in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy, while also contributing to our Under-18s’ FA Youth Cup wins over Brentford and Reading.
‘Congratulations, Tayo!’
IcChelseanews Says..
The lad is talented, he is good enough to earn that contract and we really hope that he is able to push on and actually break into that first team, he will have to work very hard, but he has the talent to do it.
CHELSEA WANTS JACQUET
Fresh reports have claimed Chelsea have made contact with Rennes over a possible deal for Jeremy Jacquet.
Frequent changes to the back four — with different centre-back combinations in most games — have prevented the defence from building cohesion and understanding. Stability at centre-back is crucial in the Premier League; without it Chelsea have conceded goals from set-pieces, breakdowns in structure and transitional moments where the team loses its shape.
Injuries have played a significant role in ***CHELSEA***’s defensive woes, but Even when fit, the squad has been juggling fitness issues and rotation, often forcing less experienced players into high-pressure roles without consistent partners.
That has led to many reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea want to keep on adding to that back-line, and now reports have claimed that Jacquet is a player that is now wanted at Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Chelsea have made contact over a possible deal for the talented defender, as they seek to beat off the attentions of Arsenal for the lad.
IcChelseanews Says…
CHELSEA need to sign a defender that will bring leadership, quality and a proven record at playing at the very highest level of the game, Jacquet is far from that and will need time before he is ready for this move to Chelsea.
He is a very talented lad, but to be honest, he is the type of player that we do not need right now and i would much prefer that the club spent £30 million on a player that could make an immediate impact.
There are some worldies out there, and we would like one of them to be signed you know?
