**Virgil van Dijk admits he is frustrated by Liverpool ‘becoming sloppy’ again.**
Saturday’s [1-1 draw with Burnley](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/62897-liverpool-1-1-burnley-three-talking-points-dominik-szoboszlai-mohamed-salah/) saw Arne Slot’s side rack up a fourth Premier League stalemate in succession despite a 12-game unbeaten run.
The reigning champions have now failed to beat any of the three newly-promoted sides at Anfield for a first time since their 1980/81 campaign.
Next up for the Reds is a Champions League encounter with Marseille which could determine whether they automatically qualify for the knockout stage.
Van Dijk left the dressing room unusually early after facing the Clarets and did not hold back in his assessment of the hosts’ spell of in-game complacency.
He said: “I’m frustrated.
“I’m frustrated that after 60 minutes we started to become sloppy and it’s not the first time. We have to address that.
“It’s been spoken about already but we have to address it again apparently.
“Monday will be a big one for it because Wednesday will be a very difficult game over there not only because of the atmosphere but it’s against a \[Roberto\] De Zerbi team who make it very difficult for you.
“It’s not about me personally, it’s a team thing. It is about how can we solve it because we all want to win games and we had plenty of chances to do so.
“The fact is we drew and that’s why I’m frustrated, like everyone should do.”
Mohamed Salah could be back in contention for Liverpool at the Stade Velodrome after Egypt’s Africa Cup of Nations run ended on Saturday.
The forward missed out on a place in the final to former sparring partner Sadio Mane’s Senegal and lost the third place play-off to Nigeria on penalties.
If available, it will be Salah’s first involvement since mid-December.
“Everyone should look forward to that,” admitted Van Dijk.
“Let’s see when he is back and hopefully he can help us. Obviously with his quality he can win games and have good results.
“Mo is a very important member of our squad on and off the pitch and we are happy when he is back.
“Unfortunately he couldn’t get to the final of the AFCON but when he is back he needs to help us.”
