Linked with names such as Anthony Davis and Ja Morant in the past weeks, package that the Canadian franchise would have to send won't be easy to form.
As ESPN reports, Raptors are actively gauging trade value of their two important players in their rotation.
RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley are names listed by ESPN as players who are mentioned in phone calls between Raptors and other team's front offices.
Toronto owns all its first- and second-round picks for the next seven years. Two factors rival executives note: A franchise that has been an infrequent taxpayer is about $1 million into the tax, and having all that long-term money to move could dissuade potential trade partners.
"Toronto will have to incentivize real offers with draft capital," one unnamed East executive said to ESPN: "They're going to have to work to avoid the second apron next year with their current roster."
Barrett, a local hometown hero, played 23 games this season, averaging 19.6 points, 5 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
Quickley, who was also brought to Canada from the New York Knicks, played 40 games, averaging 16.5 points, 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds.
