Chelsea are now "closely monitoring" a fantastic forward, who could be in line to join alongside Rennes' Jeremy Jacquet.
Blues keen to strengthen in multiple areas
The Blues mainly focussed on strengthening in attacking areas during the previous summer transfer window, despite the fact Enzo Maresca wanted to bring in a centre-back, however, Fabrizio Romano has revealed they are now trying to put that right.
Indeed, the Blues have now agreed personal terms with Rennes star Jeremy Jacquet, with Liam Rosenior a big fan of the centre-back, and the west Londoners could be set to beat the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal to his signature.
Signing a new forward is seemingly on the agenda, with 16-year-old Leicester City ace Jeremy Monga recently being named as a potential target, while the Blues have also entered the race for a more experienced winger.
That is according to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, who has revealed Chelsea are now "closely" monitoring Feyenoord star Anis Hadj Moussa ahead of a potential summer transfer swoop.

Ligue 1 side Mareseille and Portuguese outfit Benfica are among the other potential suitors for the forward, whose agent has also now opened talks over a move to Germany.
Feyenoord should be in a strong negotiating position, however, as the Algerian is under contract until thye summer of 2030.
Moussa could be "fantastic" addition to Rosenior's squad.
The Feyenoord star excels at dribbling, averaging 4.43 progressive carries per 90 over the past year, which places him in the 89th percentile, compared to his positional peers, while an average of 2.23 successful take-ons ranks the 23-year-old in the 90th percentile.

They're being active in January.
Not only that, but the France-born attacker has been impressing in front of goal for the Rotterdam club for quite some time, receiving plaudits from scout Jacek Kulig during the 2024-26 campaign.
The former Vitesse man has since gone on to catch the eye this term, weighing in with ten goal contributions in 23 matches in all competitions, before heading to AFCON with national side Algeria.
That said, with Moussa yet to prove himself in a top European league, it would be a gamble for Chelsea to make a move for him this summer, and they would perhaps be better off signing an established top-level forward, such as Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr.
