A clinical first half performance saw City lead 4-0 at the interval after a good Cherries performance had kept them quiet for much of the half.
But the visitors to AFC Totton were able to craft a handful of opportunities, and they were able to convert them.
Match report:
Bunny Shaw headed home to open the scoring after 18 minutes, before three goals in six minutes before the break, including a brace from Bleazard’s former Chelsea teammate Laura Coombs, gave them firm control.
The Cherries had chances of their own in the opening 45, but weren’t able to convert.

Asked if the clinical finishing laid bare the difference in quality between the two teams, Bleazard told the Daily Echo: “Yeah, that's the reason why they're WSL1 and they're top of WSL1.
“They've got the quality not only in the 11, but on the bench and they take their chances.
“Coming in at half time, some of the girls were like, yeah, it was just a great goal. There was nothing more to it. Because we have to be underloaded or overloaded in certain areas, you're going to have a weakness somewhere.
“And yeah, they've got quality. Whether it's their right back or their striker, they're all going to have quality on the ball.
“It was disappointing in terms of conceding two so close to half time, but it also gave us a chance to reset and go again.”
The Cherries, at times, had to hold their hands up and say the quality of City was the difference, with Bleazard saying the team stuck brilliantly to their gameplan.

“I said to them at half time, anything from an analysis point of view, was it any different to what we planned?” she said.
“And they all said no. And I was like, exactly. We'll put all of our hard work in as a staff at the start of the week and prepping to make sure that we can give the girls as much prep and understanding of the formation and how they're going to play as well.
“They knew that there are going to be some small details and fine moments and communication and passing a runner on or going with the runner.
“It's just those small details, you know the quality that they have. And no matter what player they have in their team, they've obviously rotated a couple today, but they kept a really, really strong lineup.
“I think that's huge respect to us in the fact that they knew it was going to be a tough game and they had to go and execute a really good game plan.”
