Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of Yan Diomande, Jeremy Jacquet and Jacobo Ramon that you may have missed…
RedBull director Oliver Mintzlaff has reportedly told the likes of Chelsea that they dont want to sell Yan Diomande, but admits that “we have to generate revenue.”
CHELSEA have finally managed to secure the services of Liam Rosenior for the next five years after they made the move to get a swoop done, and now the Blues can focus on adding to their squad.
But despite all the quality that CHELSEA has all over the pitch, there has been reports that the Blues have joined the chase alongside Arsenal, Man United and Tottenham in the hunt to try and sign Yan Diomande.
Diomande has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Bundesliga since joining RB Leipzig from CD Leganes this past summer. and he 19-year-old has been one of the most productive attackers for the Bundesliga club this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 16 outings in all competitions thus far
Now the Blues have been alerted to the fact that RB are open to letting Diomande leave the club in order to generate some income – RedBull director Oliver Mintzlaff told Sky: “You can’t let him go after just one year (…), but the truth is that there are also other top clubs out there (…) and we have to generate revenue.”
IcFootballnews Says…
The money that is being talked about for Diomande is well over £80 million, he has been brilliant for the German side this season and his quality and age is why that valuation is so high.
We dont know if CHELSEA is the right move for the lad to make, they already have so many quality attacking players, but a move to the Premier League will surely happen for Diomande.
However – the way he plays, his style and the fact the Premier League is so tough for young stars, maybe a move to La Liga or France would suit his development more.
JACQUET TO CHELSEA?
Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Jeremy Jacquet on the terms of his contract, with the Rennes defender possibly set to cost €70m and beat off London rivals Arsenal
Jacquet’s rapid development has not gone unnoticed. He is enjoying regular game time at Rennes, which has allowed him to mature quickly and showcase his defensive qualities at a high level. Several top clubs believe he possesses the attributes required to become a key player in their squads, and competition for his signature is expected to be strong.

Arsenal have identified Jacquet as a player for the future, viewing him as someone capable of competing for a place in their squad over time. Despite already having a number of high-quality defenders at the club, the Gunners believe Jacquet has the talent and mentality to push himself into contention and grow within a demanding environment.
Arsenal’s involvement underlines how highly the defender is rated and suggests they are prepared to compete strongly if an opportunity to secure his signature arises, but a report from French outlet Foot Mercato, who report that the Blues are making some progress in their pursuit of Jacquet.
It has been claimed that CHELSEA have now reached an agreement to bring Jacquets to Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window, and will continue talks over the next few days to finally announce the deal.
IcFootballnews Says…
This is a massive moment for Jacquet to make, he has been brilliant for the French side, playing on a regular basis and developing very nicely, he needs to make sure a move to Stamford Bridge is right at this stage of his career.
He may not actually want to go, but the money that is being talked about is massive for a club like Rennes and CHELSEA will be getting one of the best young players in the game, and a defender that could be massive.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out that is for sure.
CHELSEA IN RAMON TALKS
The new Chelsea defender links continue to gather pace this morning, as there have been some more reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea have made contact with Como over a possible deal for Jacobo Ramon
According to the reports, CHELSEA are one of the clubs who have scouted 21-year-old Como centre-back Ramon. Since December, they have been monitoring him closely, alongside Liverpool and Tottenham, while Newcastle, Brighton and Crystal Palace have also sent scouts to watch him.
Ramon, who left Real Madrid for Como in the summer, is believed to be a prodigious talent, and one of the most consistent performers for his club, and reports in Spain claim that the Blues have made their moves to get a deal done for the lad.
IcFootballnews Says…
With so much rotation and mixed performances, Chelsea are not just looking for bodies — they want a defender who can bring reliability and leadership. A seasoned centre-back can organise the line, reduce the number of costly mistakes, and help maintain structure during transitions — all areas where Chelsea have struggled this season.
New head coach Liam Rosenior has publicly appealed for patience from supporters — but defensive reinforcement remains one of the clearest ways to boost his impact. CHELSEA want to give their manager the tools to impose his tactical ideas without having to compromise structure because of defensive vulnerabilities.
However – with all that being said, Ramon is a very talented defender that is making a real name for himself in the game, and to be honest, he may be ready for a move to Stamford Bridge in the future.
But he is not ready to come to the Premier League and make this move, so if it does happen, he could really scupper his career in the game, The Blues just buy and buy in order to get the games best talents.
But sometimes that is not always the best option.
