In their initial injury report for Monday's home showdown against the Dallas Mavericks, the Knicks have marked Brunson as questionable to play due to a sprained right ankle.
Brunson notably sustained his ankle injury earlier this week in Sacramento against the Kings. He went on to miss the last two games for New York, as the Knicks suffered back-to-back losses against the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns.
Averaging 28.2 points and 6.1 assists, Brunson has led the Knicks to the No. 3 seed of the East so far with a 25-17 record.
Meanwhile, Josh Hart (ankle) is also questionable for Monday's game against the Mavericks.
