"If anybody in here knows me, I'm a very loyal guy," Morant said. "I got a [Grizzlies] logo on my back, so that should tell you exactly where I want to be."
Morant powered the Grizzlies in London with a 126-109 rematch victory over the Orlando Magic.
The star guard has been drawing headlines out of his uncertain future in Memphis after it was reported that the Grizzlies are now open to accepting trade offers around him. But Morant completely shut down speculations as he delivered a major performance, finishing with 24 points, 13 assists, five rebounds and one steal across 28 minutes of the dominant win.
Morant wowed fans with his flashy play style. He also dropped his viral shot celebrations upon hitting three triples throughout the evening.
Amid existing murmurs about his ties with the Grizzlies, Morant couldn't care less as he finally finds himself back and playing again.
This season is particularly rough for Morant, as he only appeared in 19 games so far due to injuries.
"Just being able to play basketball — it's very therapeutic for me," he said. "I know what I'm capable of out there on the court and I was able to show that tonight.
"It was big-time, walking off and representing Memphis is what it's all about."
