NBA games on TV today: Full schedule, times, channels, live streams to watch 2026 Mlk Day basketball games

The NBA continues its tradition of scheduling a slate of exciting games to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

This year, NBA fans will enjoy basketball starting at 1 p.m. ET and continuing throughout the day and evening.

Of the nine games, three will be televised nationally. These matchups include the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder at 2:30 p.m., the New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks at 5 p.m. and the Detroit Pistons vs. Boston Celtics at 8 p.m.

The Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks game will be available to watch live at 1 p.m. via a live stream.

The other five games will not be available on streaming, nor will they be nationally televised.

How to watch 2026 MLK Day NBA games

Three games will be airing not only on Peacock but also on NBC. These include Cavs vs. Thunder, Knicks vs. Mavs, and the Pistons vs. Celtics.

The Hawks vs. Bucks will be exclusively available on Peacock at 1 p.m.
