French star tells club he wants Chelsea move–Blues green light sign£86M star–Chelsea target eyes move

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer talk that you may have missed…

Reports have claimed that young defender Jeremy Jacquet has informed Rennes he would like to join Chelsea this winter, talkSPORT understands.

Frequent changes to the back four — with different centre-back combinations in most games — have prevented the defence from building cohesion and understanding. Stability at centre-back is crucial in the Premier League; without it Chelsea have conceded goals from set-pieces, breakdowns in structure and transitional moments where the team loses its shape.

Injuries have played a significant role in ***CHELSEA***’s defensive woes, but Even when fit, the squad has been juggling fitness issues and rotation, often forcing less experienced players into high-pressure roles without consistent partners.

That has led to many reports in the media over the past few days about players that CHELSEA are looking to sign, with Rennes star Jacquet the player that Chelsea are interested in signing.

Now – According to talkSPORT sources, Rennes hadn’t planned to sell Jacquet this month, who has a contract that runs until 2029, but the young man has reportedly told the club that he wants to make the move to London

The Ligue 1 side are hoping for a record fee – surpassing the €64m [around £55m] Manchester City handed over for Jermey Doku in the summer of 2023, but the Blues are only keen to spend around £45 million for the defender.

I have said it before and i will say it again, the lad is talented but not what we need right now. We should spend this money on getting someone that is already proven at the highest level.

We need a Thiago Silva type signing to improve that back-line and help the young lads develop.

YAN DIOMANDE BOOST

RedBull director Oliver Mintzlaff has reportedly told the likes of Chelsea that they dont want to sell Yan Diomande, but admits that “we have to generate revenue.”

CHELSEA have finally managed to secure the services of Liam Rosenior for the next five years after they made the move to get a swoop done, and now the Blues can focus on adding to their squad.

But despite all the quality that CHELSEA has all over the pitch, there has been reports that the Blues have joined the chase alongside Arsenal, Man United and Tottenham in the hunt to try and sign Yan Diomande.

Diomande has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Bundesliga since joining RB Leipzig from CD Leganes this past summer. and he 19-year-old has been one of the most productive attackers for the Bundesliga club this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 16 outings in all competitions thus far

Now the Blues have been alerted to the fact that RB are open to letting Diomande leave the club in order to generate some income – RedBull director Oliver Mintzlaff told Sky: “You can’t let him go after just one year (…), but the truth is that there are also other top clubs out there (…) and we have to generate revenue.”

IcChelseanews Says…

We dont know if CHELSEA is the right move for the lad to make, they already have so many quality attacking players, but a move to the Premier League will surely happen for Diomande.

But is he better than what we have right now in attack? no he is not

DRO FERNANDEZ BOOST

It has been claimed that CHELSEA are eyeing a move for Barcelona wonderkid Dro Fernandez, after the talented attacker told the Spanish giants that he wanted to leave the Camp Nou this transfer window.

At just 17, Dro made his senior debut in Barcelona’s 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad, a moment that not only signalled the arrival of a new star but also underlined the club’s determination to retain its most prized talents

For Dro himself, the first-team call-up was a dream realised. Hansi Flick placed him in the starting XI against Sociedad, and the youngster could not believe it. “I’m happy, very happy. It’s incredible. When they told me I’d be starting, I didn’t believe it at first, but then I calmed down,” Dro said.

He added, “The players and the coach reassured me, they told me to do what I do well in training, and that gave me confidence.” His 45-minute showing impressed those inside the Camp Nou, and Barcelona fans are already eager to see more of their new jewel’

However – it has not turned out like he would have hoped and reports have claimed the 18-year-old has told Barca he wants to leave the club this month and is set for a move abroad.

He is also available for an extremely cheap £5.2million due to his release clause in his contract, with reports claiming that could prove to be the bargain of the century if Dro goes on to believe the huge potential many believe he possesses.

IcChelseanews Says…

£5 ,million is not alot of money these days and any club that gets him, will need to make sure he is given the game time to develop or we will not see Dro reach his full potential.

He is a talent, but one that could get lost in the CHELSEA system here with all the talent that we have.
