Golden State Warriors will be without guard De’Anthony Melton, Seth Curry, and Gui Santos when they host the Miami Heat on Monday.
The Golden State Warriors will open their back-to-back on Monday night at Chase Center against the Miami Heat, but they will be missing several players from their rotation.
Golden State Warriors / Schedule
Guard De’Anthony Melton will sit out due to left knee injury management. Melton, who missed much of last season after ACL surgery, has returned to play 18 games this season, with averages of 11 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 20.7 minutes per game while shooting 42.2% from the field.
Seth Curry (left sciatic) and Gui Santos (left ankle sprain) are also listed as out for the contest, further limiting the Warriors’ depth off the bench.
With those absences, Golden State will rely more on Brandin Podziemski, Gary Payton II, and rookie Will Richard to contribute in key moments against Miami.
The Heat will be without Tyler Herro (right rib contusion) in San Francisco. Jimmy Butler, who missed Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets as a late scratch, is expected to return and face his former team.
