ESPN's Tim Bontemps believes Ja Morant is unlikely to be traded to either the Miami Heat or Milwaukee Bucks, noting limited league-wide interest despite ongoing speculation around the Grizzlies star.
Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant is arguably the hottest name in the current trade market. While speculation swirls about his next destination, Morant remains committed to the Grizzlies.

Still, ESPN's Tim Bontemps believes a move to the Miami Heat or Milwaukee Bucks -- two East teams publicly linked to him -- is unlikely.
On the latest episode of The Hoops Collective podcast, Bontemps said Miami's interest in Morant is overstated, as is Milwaukee's.
"After the Luka trade, I quit saying never about things. I feel pretty confident Ja Morant won't be a Miami Heat, and won't be a Buck," Bontemps said. "That's what I would say. I don't believe he is going to Miami, and I don't believe he is going to Milwaukee."

The Bucks had reportedly been aggressively pursuing Morant, with a potential trade package centered around Ryan Rollins, Kevin Porter Jr., Kyle Kuzma, and a future first-round pick, aiming to pair him with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Meanwhile, the Heat are reportedly focused on acquiring Giannis themselves this upcoming summer, making a Morant move unlikely.
"I think there's very limited interest in Ja around the league," Bontemps added. "I've spent a lot of time asking people where they think he could go. There's not a lot of teams that you can really come up with as really credible options for him."
The 26-year-old guard has played 19 games this season, averaging 19.3 points and 7.8 assists per game.
He is earning $39.4 million this season and is under contract through the 2027-28 campaign.
