Devin Booker is listed as questionable on the official injury report for the Phoenix Suns' game on Monday, January 19.

ThePhoenix Suns will face theBrooklyn Nets on the road on Monday, January 19, but they may be without their best player.

Devin Booker is listed as questionable with left ankle soreness on the official injury report. He had 27 points, four rebounds and four assists on 38.9% shooting from the field and 20% shooting from three in a 106-99 win over theNew York Knicks on Saturday, January 17.

Booker is having another outstanding season, averaging 25.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.4 assists while shooting 45.2% from the field and 30.1% from three.

Is Devin Booker Playing Tonight?

Booker missed a game earlier this month against theDetroit Pistons withswelling in his ankle. The guard played through the pain against the Knicks, but on the first night of a back-to-back for the Suns, the team may opt for a more cautious approach with the four-time All-Star.

Phoenix won’t take any chances with Booker if he is not feeling 100%. The team will likely evaluate him pregame before making a final decision on his status. If Booker is out,Grayson Allen will likely start in his place.

Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) has been upgraded to questionable as he works his way back from an injury that has cost him more than two months of the season.Jamaree Bouyea (concussion) andJordan Goodwin (jaw sprain) are available tonight.

Phoenix Suns Trade Rumors

The Suns are a surprise contender this season after they tradedKevin Durant to theHouston Rockets in the offseason, but it does not appear they will be overly active at the trade deadline. The team will likely view Green’s return as an upgrade on the offensive end and potentially try to make some smaller deals to retool their roster.

One move Phoenix could make is to trade backup centerNick Richards, who is on anexpiring contract. He could be a cheaper option for a team looking for help at the position, should they miss out on players likeAnthony Davis orDomantas Sabonis.

The Suns could also look to move a larger contract, with an eye towards using the money to re-signMark Williams andCollin Gillespie this offseason. In anew trade idea, Phoenix sends Richards and Allen (who is signed for two more seasons) to theBoston Celtics for guardAnfernee Simons (whose contract is up at the end of this season).
