Chelsea welcome Cypriot side Pafos to Stamford Bridge in an important Champions League group phase match on Wednesday night.
The Blues currently sit 13th in the 32-team Champions League table, with only the top eight sides qualifying automatically for the knockout stages of the competition.
Liam Rosenior will expect to see his side beat Pafos, but even victory may not be enough to secure a top-eight finish and the west London outfit may therefore have to go through a play-off to reach the next phase of the competition.
In the meantime, it has emerged that Chelsea could be willing to sell one of their most important players.
According to TEAMtalk, the Blues could be prepared to sell midfielder Enzo Fernandez amid interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The report claims that the London side have given their Spanish counterparts encouragement that they could be willing to sell the Argentina international for the right price.

Fernandez, 25, joined Chelsea from Portuguese side Benfica back in January 2023, for a fee of around £106.8 million.
He has since established himself as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League, making more than 140 appearances for the Blues across all competitions.
The Argentine has been particularly impressive so far this term, netting eight goals in 31 games for the club.
The report suggests that, while Chelsea do consider some members of Rosenior’s squad to be untouchable and not for sale at any price, Fernandez is not one of those and the west London side could therefore be willing to agree a deal if their valuation of the midfielder is met.
Fernandez is under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2031/32 campaign.
