This season has been a frustrating one for Tyler Herro, as his rib injury will require him to miss significant time again for the Miami Heat.

According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, an MRI revealed that Herro sustained a costochondral issue with his ribs. This injury is commonly a pain tolerance, but it can be highly painful.
His timeline of return stands undetermined.
Herro didn't join the team's five-game road trip, as it was announced that he'll undergo further checking on his rib issues. He missed the team's 122-120 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder last Saturday.
Herro has been limited to just 11 games this year. He didn't play in the first 17 games of the season after a September ankle surgery, and eventually missed 13 more due to a toe contusion.
The star guard is averaging 21.9 points, 4.7 boards and 2.7 assists
