Victor Wembanyama has 10 points and four rebounds in the first four minutes.

Spurs lead 13-8.

Midway through the first, the @utahjazz trail the @spurs 18-15.

Good to see Keyonte George get some shots up early.

He’s been really focused in getting his teammates involved early, but his scoring is too valuable to pass up when Markkanen is out of the lineup.

That was Isaiah Collier’s second dunk of the season (35 games played).

He had 16 as a rookie in 71 games.

After one, the @utahjazz trail the @spurs 34-26.

Ace Bailey banks in a three and the @utahjazz have pulled even with the @spurs 38-38 with 9 minutes left in the half.

Jazz double-big lineup with Nurkic and Love has brought a lot of basketball know-how to the court.

Walt Clayton has been in a little bit of a slump on this road trip.

He’s just 7-25 on the trip, including 2-16 from three.

He’d been shooting 45 percent from three over his previous 8 games.

I don’t think we’ve gotten particularly close to seeing Ace Bailey’s best, but his typical median game is so much higher than I expected.

On average, he’s really pretty impactful on the court.

The game started to get away from the Jazz a bit in the third.

Utah had more offensive rebounds and fewer turnovers, but was unable to capitalize with a 29.6 FG% in the quarter. Spurs shot 61.1% from the floor.

— Chandler Holt (@CHoltSports) January 19, 2026

Through three, the @utahjazz trail the @spurs 96-80.

Jazz have been able to respond to every Spurs run so far, but are letting this one slip away. #TakeNote pic.twitter.com/4AAE6Smnq0

Fourth Quarter

These are the types of games where, eventually, I wonder if the Jazz will start looking to Ace Bailey to carry a bigger offensive load.

Jazz struggled to find easy looks, and Ace will be able to get a good shot most trips up the floor as he gets stronger.

Wemby just shot a three, and it bounced like 8 times on the rim before going in.

That about sums up the second half for Utah.
