Butler took an untimely exit with 7:41 left in the third quarter. He landed awkwardly after catching a ball and went down, grabbing his right knee while in pain. He was immediately escorted out of the game as Warriors fans held their breath inside Chase Center.
The star forward tallied 17 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes before exiting the game
The Dubs can only hope that Butler didn't sustain a serious injury that will require him inactive in a significant timeframe.
