Chelsea ready to do deal for£107M star–Midfielder free join Chelsea–Ex-Blues star wants£130M signing

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea fc transfer news and gossip that you may have missed from icchelseanews…

There have been some transfer rumours in the media which have claimed that Chelsea will now be able to possibly land one of the clubs long-term targets as Real Madrid are reportedly ready to let Franco Mastantuono leave the club at the end of the season.

According to Fichajes, Madrid might be prepared to listen to offers for Franco Mastantuono despite the Argentine youngster only arriving at the Estadio Bernabeu in August 2025. He was seen as one for the future and joined the club in a €45 million deal from River Plate

However – reports have claimed that he has been unable to settle into life in Madrid, has been unable to put in the kind of performances that prompted the Spaniards to make an offer, and is a player the club are open to letting leave.

CHELSEA were one of the clubs also eyeing Mastantuono before he chose Madrid and the Blues remain admirers of the 18-year-old. It’s claimed that the Premier League giants might try testing the waters with a huge offer.

The Blues like to add the best young players to their academy and hopefully try to turn them into big stars, of sell them on for far more money than was spent in the transfer window.

IcChelseanews says…

We wanted the young man before he moved to Madrid, CHELSEA were hoping that they could have convinced the lad to make the move to London, but he opted for Madrid and it seemingly has not worked out.

He was probably too young to come to Europe, and that is why he is struggled to adapt to life in Madrid. Coming to Chelsea is probably not the answer, the lad is talented, but is far off the quality that we already have at Stamford Bridge.

MORRIS WANTS VINICIUS

Vinicius Junior making a move to Chelsea remains a ”fairytale shout”, says former Blues midfielder Jody Morris, amid all the speculation and rumours that the Blues are prepared to pay big for the Brazilian star.

Vinicius has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few weeks ever since news broke that he was one of the players that helped end Xabi Alonso’s time at the Bernabeu.

The Madrid fans have even turned on the Brazilian star, and recent reports in the Spanish media have claimed that President Florentino Perez is very much open to the idea of letting some of his big players leave the club, if the right offer is made.

But A ‘Galactico’ at Santiago Bernabeu is generating talk of a Premier League transfer being made in 2026, as reports have claimed that Vinicius could be the big name that arrives at Stamford Bridge in a move that could cost the club over £130 million.

However – Morris cannot see a big-money deal being done. He has told AceOdds: “Personally, I love Vini Jr. I thought he was outstanding in the Supercopa de Espana. What a goal, the one he scored. He had [Jules] Kounde on toast, didn’t he?

“Personally, would I want to sign him? Yeah. But I think he’s too old for this ownership. I know he’s 25 but he’s 25 going on 26. Whatever we’re going to have to shell out for him, I’m not sure. I know we’ve sold a hotel, a women’s team and a car park or something but I’m not sure them accountants have any more moves in their locker to go and unlock a Vini Jr. move.

“Would I want him at CHELSEA? Absolutely. But I’m not sure he’s possible to go and buy and if you’re Vini Jr., are you really looking to come to Chelsea? At the moment, where we are, you’re not coming to Chelsea are you? It’s a good shout but it’s a fairytale shout. I don’t see it.”

CHELSEA READY SELL ENZO

There has been some shock transfer reports in the media this week, which have claimed that Chelsea are very much open to the idea of letting midfield star Enzo Fernandez depart the club at the end of the season.

After a difficult start to his CHELSEA career, Fernandez assumed the captaincy following the appointment of Enzo Maresca and played a key role in leading the club to Conference League success and Champions League qualification last season.

The 24-year-old thrived under Maresca and was left disappointed by the club’s decision to part company with the Italian earlier this month following the breakdown in the relationship between the coach and board

And according to L’Equipe, Fernandez has been so unsettled by the latest managerial upheaval that he is weighing up leaving in the summer, amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The reigning European champions built last season’s success around a midfield trio of Vitinha, Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz, but Luis Enrique is keen to add more competition for places.

But now, according to TEAMtalk, CHELSEA have decided not to close the door on a Fernandez sale this summer and that has left chasing clubs “over the moon” with all the big names still being linked with a move for Enzo.

IcChelseanews Says..

This is really sad news if the rumours are true, Enzo has been massive for us over the past 12 months and a player that really progressed under Maresca, he cant leave.

He is tied into a massive contract, so the club dont have to sell, so we are hoping that he does want to stay and the club does want to keep the man.
