Liverpool have less than two weeks to secure their first senior signing of the winter transfer window. The Reds have already brought in Mor Talla Ndiaye this month, but he will be joining the under-21s squad.

James Norris is the only player to have left Anfield so far, having signed a permanent deal with Shelbourne on New Year's Day. At this point in the transfer window, the focus seems to be more on potential departures, with several players attracting interest from clubs across Europe.

Daily Star Sport takes a closer look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding Liverpool, with Curtis Jones and Federico Chiesa in the spotlight.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Curtis Jones, as per The Times. Spurs have already snapped up Conor Gallagher this winter and could now be looking to reunite Jones with his former England teammate, reports the Mirror.

The duo have played together twice for the senior side, having previously teamed up for the under-21s. Both players will be hoping to make it into Thomas Tuchel's squad for the World Cup this summer.

Gallagher has already made the move for more game time, playing the full 90 minutes on his debut for Spurs. Jones, on the other hand, has started all but one of Liverpool's last 10 matches, the only exception being the 0-0 draw with Arsenal, when he was an unused substitute.

Juventus are reportedly still keen on bringing Federico Chiesa into their attacking line-up this month, as per Italian news outlet Calciomercato. Liverpool are said to be asking for a fee between £13million and £17million for the winger.

The Reds are reportedly looking for a permanent deal, while Juventus would prefer a loan arrangement with an option to buy. Chiesa seems eager for a return to Italy and is reportedly willing to lower his wage demands to facilitate the move.

The return of Mohamed Salah from the Africa Cup of Nations could potentially pave the way for Chiesa's departure. With the Egyptian star back in action, Chiesa's role under manager Arne Slot could diminish further.

However, during the summer, the Italian expressed contentment with his situation at Anfield. "I am playing for one of the best teams in the world. I just have to wait and be ready and prove that I can play for this team. The coach has treated me very well."
