Arsenal are back in action tonight, squaring off against Inter Milan in the Champions League. The Gunners' unbeaten European streak was snapped by Inter last season when Hakan Calhanoglu netted a penalty to seal their victory.

However, Mikel Arteta's lads are heading into Milan on top form, leading the Premier League and boasting a flawless record in this season's Champions League.

Despite shelling out a whopping £250million in the summer transfer window, it's not expected that Arsenal will be making big moves this month. Still, the gossip grapevine is buzzing with chatter, so, we've gathered up all the latest Arsenal news and transfer rumours for you.

Gabriel Jesus has urged Arsenal to table him a new contract so he can chase his dream of bagging multiple trophies with the club. Jesus made the switch from Manchester City to Arsenal in 2022, but his current deal is set to run out next summer, reports the Mirror.

Jesus, who was sidelined for nearly a year after a cruciate ligament operation, might get his first Champions League start since December 2024 against Inter tonight. While he confessed that contract discussions haven't kicked off yet, he's keen to stay put at the club.

He declared: "My first target is to be healthy from now until the end of the season, and then, like I said before, my wish is to stay at Arsenal. I want to extend my contract, I want to stay, I want to win trophies with Arsenal because I came here with that purpose and that's it.

"But obviously the reality is different sometimes. Sometimes it's to go another way, but my focus is staying healthy and winning trophies with Arsenal."

Reports out of Italy suggest that Arsenal are seriously keen on snapping up Inter Milan defender Federico Dimarco. Italian outlet Tuttosport reckons that Dimarco's contract situation has piqued the interest of the Gunners.

The full-back's current deal runs out in June next year. However, the Nerazzurri are reportedly planning to sit down for talks as early as February to lock him into a new contract.

The report also spills that Manchester United had a crack at signing Dimarco during Ruben Amorim's stint at the helm. Left-back is a spot on the pitch that Mikel Arteta might be looking to bolster come summer.
