Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has confirmed that he's in talks over a new contract, but no decision has been made.
Szoboszlai has been a key figure for the Reds this season, and has arguably been their best performer, despite the Merseyside club bringing in a host of new additions in the summer transfer window. The likes of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkez arrived at Anfield in the summer, but they've been outshone by the Hungarian midfielder so far.
Szoboszlai's current deal is set to expire in 2028, so although Liverpool aren't in any danger of losing him on a free just yet, they will want to get him tied down to avoid a repeat of the Trent Alexander-Arnold situation. The Reds lost their academy graduate in the summer after they failed to extend his contract, with the England international joining Spanish giants Real Madrid on a free.

Speaking to the media, Liverpool midfielder Szoboszlai has shared an update on his future at Anfield, confirming that 'no decision' has been made over a new deal. The Hungarian international has confirmed that they are in talks over a new contract.
“There is always progress but no decision has been made. I’ll just keep on going every week, every training session, giving my best for the team and for the fans. Let’s see what is going to happen in the future. There has been talks but for sure not any decision has been made.”
