Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri has accepted a deal to join Champions League Marseille on loan, with the deal now at the final stages, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Nwaneri, described as a 'phenomenal' talent by Stephen Warnock, has struggled to become a regular in Mikel Arteta's side this season, despite the Spanish manager giving him plenty of opportunities at such a young age. The now-18-year-old became the Premier League's youngest-ever player back in 2022, coming off the bench against Brentford at the age of 15 years and 184 days.
In the Premier League this season, Nwaneri has played just 171 minutes across six games, failing to start for the Gunners. If the England youth international is going to develop into the player many expect him to, then he's going to have to start upping his game time.
Deal at Final Stages for Nwaneri

According to Romano, Nwaneri has agreed to join French side Marseille on loan for the second half of the season, with a deal now at the final stages. Arsenal believe it's the best solution for him going forward, with a straight loan being discussed with no buy option.
It's claimed that Arsenal boss Arteta has already spoken with Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi about the talented teenager, coming to the conclusion that the French club is his ideal solution. The Gunners must have been convinced by De Zerbi that Nwaneri is going to be a regular for the Ligue 1 outfit, which is exactly what he needs as this moment.
