When asked whether he would take part if he received an invitation, Edgecombe said there was no chance he would compete, without offering an explanation.

"I ain't doing it. I'm good," Edgecombe said while speaking to the media on Monday after a 113-104 win over the Pacers.

This season, Edgecombe has already shown that he is one of the league's top dunkers, throwing down several impressive finishes during the early part of his rookie campaign.

The standout rookie is averaging 15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game this season.
