Steve Kerr's relationship with forward Jonathan Kuminga has reportedly "fractured beyond repair" as Kuminga's trade saga continues.
After Jimmy Butler's devastating season-ending knee injury, the Golden State Warriors face a significant gap in their lineup, and their hopes of competing for a title without one of their stars have dimmed.

This situation could have been a turning point for forward Jonathan Kuminga, who might have been expected to step up in Butler’s absence.
However, according to Shams Charania of ESPN, that is highly unlikely. Charania reports that Kuminga's relationship with head coach Steve Kerr is "fractured beyond repair," signaling that he is unlikely to be part of the Warriors' future plans.
Kuminga has been out of the rotation since December 18, when he played nine minutes against the Phoenix Suns.
The forward started the season in the lineup and appeared in the first 12 games but has not played in the Warriors' last 16 contests. This season, he is averaging 11.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in roughly 24 minutes per game.
