From Brazil: Liverpool ‘intend to make offer’ for Wolves player

Liverpool have placed Wolves midfielder André firmly on their radar and continue to track the player.

The news comes from Brazil. Local, and reliable, outletRTI Esporte says Liverpool have already shown concrete interest in the 24-year-old Wolves player. The Reds are closely monitoring both his performances and statistical output in England.

Liverpool ‘intend to make an offer’ for the Wolves player, according to the report.

Despite Wolves’ struggles, André continues to hold a strong reputation. The midfielder remains seen as one of the leading players in his position in England. That form has also attracted attention from clubs inItaly andTurkey. Still, Liverpool stand out as the most advanced English side in the picture so far.

RTI Esporte report that Liverpool’s interest does not depend on Wolves’ final league position. Even if the club avoid relegation, the expectation is that Liverpool will move towards an official approach. If Wolves drop into the Championship, keeping André would become extremely difficult.

Wolves signed André in August 2024 for €22m (£18.8m) and handed him a contract running until June 2029. The club have no intention of accepting a loan deal and would only consider a permanent transfer. Wolves are believed to value the midfielder at no less than €30m (£25.6m). That would surely be a rock-bottom price, and he’s likely to cost more.

Rob Edwards’ side also see a future Brazil call-up as a way to further increase his market value.

For now, André remains part of Wolves’ plans, but Liverpool continue to watch closely as the season moves towards a decisive phase.
