Erling Haaland will return to Norway as Manchester City hopes to lock down a top-eight finish in the Champions League with victory at Bodø/Glimt on Tuesday.
How to Watch Bodø/Glimt vs Manchester City
Pep Guardiola is facing an injury crisis as Manchester City travels to Bodø/Glimt on Tuesday, with the Premier League giant aiming to lock down its place in the next phase of the Champions League. The Citizens are fourth in the league table and already certain to advance in the competition, but a top-eight finish would guarantee a place in the round of 16.
Norwegian outfit Bodø/Glimt is at the opposite end of the standings in 32nd place and needs an upset victory to stand any chance of going any further in Europe this term. However, the Eliteserien side may struggle to secure its first Champions League win against one of the continent's best teams.
There is, however, a glimmer of hope, as City is currently dealing with a major injury crisis and could be vulnerable as a result. As many as 14 City players could miss the fixture for one reason or another, with Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, John Stones, Mateus Nunes, Savinho, and Nico Gonzalez all missing out due to injury, while January signings Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi aren't registered.
Bernardo Silva is also sidelined due to suspension, while Phil Foden is struggling with a hand injury, and Omar Marmoush may need a rest after the Africa Cup of Nations. Erling Haaland is one name who looks certain to star, however, as he looks to make a big impression back on home soil.
