Mikel Arteta has shuffled his pack for tonight’s Champions League game against Inter Milan, making seven changes and handing starts to Bukayo Saka, Cristian Mosquera and Ebere Eze.
The boss has kept just four players who began Saturday’s draw at Nottingham Forest - David Raya, Jurrien Timber, William Saliba and Martin Zubimendi - as he takes the opportunity to rotate his squad during a nine-game month.
Having begun on the bench at the City Ground, Saka is restored and wears the captain’s armband, while Cristian Mosquera is back in our side after six weeks out with an ankle injury, and he takes Gabriel’s spot in the heart of our defence.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is also included in the backline which will see Jurrien Timber swap from left to right-back, while Mikel Merino and Eze line up in a three-man midfield with Zubimendi.
Up top, Leandro Trossard and Saka are recalled, while Gabriel Jesus is preferred to Viktor Gyokeres up front. The Swede is included in a strong bench that also contains Martin Oegaard, Declan Rice, Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli, who will hope he gets a chance to score in a sixth-straight Champions League game.
