Superstar has already agreed join Chelsea–Blues working on striker deal–£400k-a-week star to get January move

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews featuring the likes of David Fofana, Raheem Sterling and Vinicius Junior that you guys may have missed…

Chelsea fans have been told that Raheem Sterling could leave the Premier League and make the move abroad, as he may fancy a less competitive league to play in.

Sterling won four Premier League titles at Manchester City but has struggled since his £50m move to Stamford Bridge in 2022. The 31-year-old winger hoped to revive his career on loan at Arsenal last season but only contributed one goal for the Gunners in 28 appearances in all competitions.

He has been heavily linked with a number of Premier League moves in recent months, but Former Blues star Jody Morris has opened up and claimed that Sterling may actually decide to leave the Premier League.

Asked where Sterling could end up, Johnson added: ‘I’m not sure where I see Raheem’s next move in football being. We have been talking about him for a few years now in this way, and he is still at CHELSEA

‘He has 18 months left on his contract, so it will all depend on what he wants as to where his next move is. He could just see his contract out, but I think he will want to get back playing again as soon as possible.

‘As for the move, I’m not sure. I think if he wants to push to go to the World Cup, then he needs to play consistently in the Premier League.

‘However, he might be sick of the relentless fight in the Premier League at this stage in his career and potentially move somewhere less competitive.

‘It completely depends on where his head is at. I am such a big fan of Sterling, and I always have been. I’ve been saying for years that I think he has got loads to give at the highest level of football.

‘I think it would be a shame if he moved abroad to the MLS or Saudi Arabia right now. I would love to see him do a few more years in the Premier League before winding down his career.’

CHELSEA TRYING TO SELL FOFANA

Reports have Claimed that Chelsea are hoping to offload striker David Datro Fofana in this transfer window in a bid to get rid of the forward on a permanent basis.

Joao Pedro was Chelsea’s most expensive signing at £60m last summer, but a further £200m was spent on key additions Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, Estevao Willian, Jorrel Hato and Liam Delap.

Those arrivals helped CHELSEA win the Conference League last season and lift the Club World Cup trophy over the summer, beating Champions League holders PSG in the final, but there are players that are no longer needed at the club

23-year-old Fofana joined Chelsea from Molde in 2023, but has not managed to crack the first-team, nor has he impressed overly in loan spells with Union Berlin, Göztepe, Burnley, and Fatih Karagümrük, where he is currently plying his trade.

All parties are interested in finding him a permanent move this month, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Celtic, Royal Antwerp, and Derby County have expressed an interest in doing a deal.

Since joining CHELSEA, Datro Fofana has scored 16 goals in 61 appearances for six teams, including the Blues’ Under-21s.

IcFootballnews Says…

CHELSEA are a massive club that Fofana could not turn down, but at the end of the day, it shows that moves to big clubs are not always going to work out and not Fofana will need to find another club and get his career back on track.

There are a few options for the lad to make, so he will have options, But he needs to make sure that he is joining a club that will allow him to have the game time that he needs to impress.

But at the end of the day, this is the right decision as the forward is too good to be lost in the system, he needs to fulfil his potential

VINICIUS HAS AGREED MOVE?

Here is the latest Chelsea transfer speculation as reports have claimed Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has ‘already agreed’ to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Vinicius has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few weeks ever since news broke that he was one of the players that helped end Xabi Alonso’s time at the Bernabeu.

The Madrid fans have even turned on the Brazilian star, and recent reports in the Spanish media have claimed that President Florentino Perez is very much open to the idea of letting some of his big players leave the club, if the right offer is made.

But A ‘Galactico’ at Santiago Bernabeu is generating talk of a Premier League transfer being made in 2026, as reports have claimed that Vinicius could be the big name that arrives at Stamford Bridge in a move that could cost the club over £130 million

Now, according to reports on Fichajes, The Brazil international ‘already has an agreement in place to become their star player next summer’ and CHELSEA are prepared to meet the massive asking price that is placed on the head of Vinicius

IcFootballnews Says…

Vinicius Junior to CHELSEA will not work, he is not the type of player that Blues fans will enjoy watching every week. He will not score the goals that the management wants, he could just be another expensive signing like Raheem Sterling was.

At Madrid, he gets all the game time he needs to be that superstar, but at the end of the games, his own fans boo him and that is because he is just a frustrating player to watch.

He would cost some serious money, would demand some massive wages and to be honest, would really struggle in the Premier League. He may be a big name, but he is not the star that would enjoy the English game, and Blues fans would not enjoy him.
