Manchester City have suffered a shock 3-1 loss to Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt in their Champions League clash at Aspmyra Stadion on Wednesday morning AEDT.
After Dane Kasper Hogh scored twice in the first half to give the hosts a 2-0 lead during the break, Norway’s Jens Petter Hauge found the back of the net in the 58th minute to give Bodo/Glimt an unexpected 3-0 lead.
France’s Rayan Cherki scored in the 60th minute to give Manchester City a glimmer of hope heading into the final 30 minutes, but the shellshocked British powerhouse couldn’t close the gap.

Superstar Erling Haaland had a night to forget, missing two big chances, while midfielder Rodri will miss next weekend’s clash against Galatasaray after copping a red card.
The Spaniard was shown a yellow card in the 61st minute for a trip on Hakon Evjen, sent off the field 53 seconds later after grabbing his rival.
“A player of his experience can have no complaints,” former Premier League striker Chris Sutton said on BBC Radio 5.
“He had to calm himself down after the first yellow card. Stupidity from him.”
