The latest Premier League transfer rumours - with news from Liverpool, Manchester City, Fulham and Crystal Palace.

It’s once again time for 3 Added Minutes’ regular round-up of today’s biggest and often wildest Premier League transfer rumours – and today we kick start things with a story which should be of interest to the Liverpool supporters reading.

According to Caught Offside, the Reds are readying a “concrete bid” for explosive RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé – and are now in the “strongest” position of any of his suitors to get a deal over the line.

Leipzig have apparently told the various interested parties that the 19-year-old Ivorian will set them back at least €100m (£87m) after an incredibly impressive first six months in the Bundesliga, but despite the steep price Liverpool are now “expected to make a formal approach” soon.

PSG, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all said to be “monitoring” Diomandé to one degree or another and the Gunners in particular are said to have held “internal discussions” but it’s Liverpool who are apparently in the driving seat and the most willing to meet Leipzig’s asking price. That said, there’s no suggestion that a bid has been made as yet.

The 3AM Verdict: A lot of outlets reporting on Diomandé’s future seem keen to suggest that he will be on the move this winter but we doubt that he leaves Leipzig before the summer – but of all the teams said to be interested, Liverpool are one of the few who have the funds to make it happen in the near future. Keep an eye on both them and Spurs, but the likelihood is that the youngster stays put for now.

Fulham hoping to beat Borussia Dortmund to Man City man

Over to a story shared by both Fabrizio Romano and Sky Sports, now – which alleges that Fulham are making a late bid to sign Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb despite long-running negotiations with Borussia Dortmund.

Romano claims that Fulham are “in talks” to complete a permanent transfer with an offer of around £35m “on the table” as it stands, although Sky Sports contradict him and suggest that “discussions are ongoing with no bid yet.”

Dortmund “remain keen,” Romano claims, and have yet to decide whether or not to lodge a similar offer. As it stands, it seems that Fulham have stolen a march on their Bundesliga counterpart, however, with City widely expected to sanction the 22-year-old Norwegian’s departure this winter.

The 3AM Verdict: It certainly seems that this story is legitimate, although Dortmund could surely still spoil Fulham’s chances of completing a potential coup. We also suspect that a deal for Bobb would mean that Fulham postpone their bid for Ricardo Pepi of PSV, who was akey January target before he broke his arm.

Crystal Palace identify Marc Guéhi replacement

Let’s wrap our latest little digest up with a story from GiveMeSport, who allege that Crystal Palace are “interested” in Fenerbahçe defender Jayden Oosterwolde, who has been lined up as the club’s replacement for the departed Marc Guéhi.

The 24-year-old Oosterwolde is apparently seen as a “strong candidate” to take Guéhi’s place on the left side of Palace’s back three, and Palace have “ramped up their interest” in the Dutchman – although club-to-club negotiations have yet to take place, per the report. Presumably Palace have been talking to the player’s representatives to test the water.

There’s no word on how much Fenerbahçe might want for their defender but they’re the kind of club that are usually happy to sell players for reasonable fees given how often they need to fund their latest spending spree. The report also mentions a claim from The Sun which suggests that Nottingham Forest and Leeds have also been “expressing interest” in Oosterwolde, but doesn’t back that up.

The 3AM Verdict: Oosterwolde makes sense as a prospective replacement in terms of playing style, but it’s clearly too early to say if Palace will sign him – the story hasn’t been widely corroborated and if it’s true, the their interest is still in the early stages. One to watch.
