Arsenal made seven changes but still managed a huge win in Italy on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, put his trust in some rotational players and was rewarded. An energetic performance and potency from his forwards saw Arsenal beat the Serie A table-toppers, securing a top-two finish in the league phase.
This crucially means Arsenal avoid a 2-legged play off round and by finishing top two, ensure they will play the second-leg of any knockout tie at home for the remainder of the competition.

Man of the match: Gabriel Jesus. A very encouraging performance from the Brazilian, right when Arsenal need it. Two early goals but an all-round strong performance to put him in contention for a start at the weekend. Viktor Gyokeres, though, came on, scored and also looked great. A confidence-boosting night for our forwards.
