According to league insider Matt Moore, the Heat will likely offer Terry Rozier and draft assets to the Grizzlies for Morant.
In his latest Hardwood Paroxysm report, NBA insider Matt Moore revealed that the Miami Heat will only likely offer Terry Rozier and draft assets in a potential Ja Morant deal with the Memphis Grizzlies.

“Does Miami take a step back at the deadline to get more assets for Giannis this summer, or do they try and convert talent to get better now? The Ja Morant stuff has cooled a lot, but if that gets revisited, they will not include anything they need for a Giannis deal," Moore wrote.
"They’re going to try and basically get him for Rozier’s expiring and filler.”
After Ja Morant was made available for trade by the Grizzlies, the Heat emerged as the top trade candidate for the embattled guard. It has been speculated that Morant and his camp see Miami as an ideal destination should they finally leave Memphis.
Yet intriguingly, a recent report suggests that the Heat will be out of the Morant sweepstakes should a possible deal with the Grizzlies would hurt their chances of hunting Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Heat's trade package involving Rozier's expiring contract and draft fillers appears unconvincing on paper. And should the Grizzlies look to finally pull the trigger with Morant, they might find another partner team to send their franchise guard.
Morant recently returned to the Grizzlies in a sparkling display after a six-game absence due to a calf injury, and time can only tell if the franchise will recommit with him.
