The Bulls have had talks with the New Orleans Pelicans around Zion Williamson.
The Chicago Bulls have been exploring potential deals for Zion Williamson.

Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times dropped the revelation. But as talks have gradually gone silent with the New Orleans Pelicans, there is now a momentum about center Yves Missi on the other hand.
"The Sun-Times confirmed a report that the Bulls have had ongoing talks with the Pelicans about players such as forward Zion Williamson and center Yves Missi. While the chatter around Williamson has quieted on the Pelicans’ end, there has been momentum around Missi," Cowley wrote.
Considering their current standing as one of the worst teams in the West, all eyes are directed to New Orleans as many teams are trying to make a deal. Yet with less than three weeks left before the trade deadline, there hasn't been any substantial information yet around their coveted pieces such as Trey Murphy, Herb Jones and Zion Williamson.
But from the fact that there were trade talks between the Bulls and Pelicans involving Williamson, there is a considerable chance that New Orleans may be open to moving on from the former No. 1 pick.
In his sixth season as a Pelican, Williamson is averaging 22.5 points, 5.8 boards and 3.5 assists. He appeared in 29 games so far this season.
