Liverpool return to Champions League action on Wednesday evening against Marseille, but Arne Slot will have to navigate numerous player injuries heading into the fixture. It's been a testing season for the Reds both domestically and in Europe, currently fourth in the Premier League standings and a lowly 11th on the Champions League table.

With high hopes of bursting into the top eight of the latter to ensure automatic qualification to the knockout stages of the tournament, Slot will know the task at hand. Marseille will provide stiff competition on Wednesday at the Stade Velodrome, before a clash with Qarabag awaits the Reds a week later.
