Pep Guardiola suffered a fresh Manchester City blow in their humbling Champions League defeat to Bodo/Glimt. A Kasper Hogh brace and Jens Petter Hauge beauty put the Norwegian side in cruise control with Rayan Cherki's strike merely a consolation.

City, sitting seventh in the standings before several others play their penultimate league matches, now head into the final matchday needing to beat Galatasaray and also hope results elsewhere go in their favour.

Rodri is one player that Guardiola will not be able to call on for that huge clash at Etihad Stadium after he was sent off in the arctic circle for two yellow cards in quick succession.

Nico Gonzalez, particularly because of Rodri's suspension, and Matheus Nunes are two key players that Guardiola will hope to have back. The former has missed the last two games through illness but is expected to be back available to face his former club Wolves this weekend.

Antoine Semenyo and new January signing Marc Guehi are set to be available for the visit of Rob Edwards' side with Bernardo Silva also back available after serving a ban in Europe.

However, Guardiola is expected to remain without Savinho, Mateo Kovacic, John Stones, Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol and Oscar Bobb. The latter, who Guardiola has claimed told him that he is not fit, is in talks to join Fulham.

Following a disastrous Manchester derby defeat at Old Trafford, City have suffered another hugely damaging loss which has left Guardiola feeling as though it is all going wrong.

He said: "We arrived in some departments without important players and they are a little bit fragile like they were last season in a certain period but how they fought, 10 against 11, a lot of players made a step up.

"We have to come back for the victory. I have a feeling that the results since 2025 was not good, so in terms of the Premier League, and now today, but we have to look forward.

"We have four days for Wolves and after Galatasaray, to try to see what happens.

"Today was an incredible opportunity for us, but the feeling is that everything is going wrong, it's going against in many, many details, and that is a fact, and we have to try to change it. But the players are there, and we'll try."

Following hopeful returns for Nunes and Gonzalez later this month, Guardiola has hinted that Dias and Stones will be next but that Gvardiol will not be back any time soon.

He said earlier this month: "Without John, without Ruben, without Josko, we're in a difficult situation [defensively] not for one game, but for a long, long period. Ruben will be back soon, John, hopefully - we'll see, but Josko, no."
